Bailey Renewable Solutions Ltd (BRS for short) is a team of North Yorkshire-based solar energy specialists, delivering high-quality, renewable energy solutions for commercial and industrial clients across the UK.
Founded by Alex Bailey, a seasoned electrical engineer with over 10 years’ experience in electrical systems and renewable technologies, Bailey Renewable Solutions combines technical excellence with a commitment to long-term performance and value.
What we do
Coming from an operations and maintenance (O&M) background, we understand
that the true success of a solar PV system isn’t measured on the day it’s switched
on, but in how it performs over decades.
That’s why we design and build every system with its entire lifecycle in mind – from optimal layout and component selection to future repowers, upgrades, and eventual safe removal.
Today, Bailey Renewables manages a diverse portfolio exceeding 80 MWp across 60
operational sites, providing full end-to-end services including design, quality
management, installation, commissioning, repowers, HV switching and operations &
maintenance (O&M).

Unlike many solar companies, we have a team of in-house engineers who guide each project from concept to completion. Their hands-on experience and technical insight ensure that every design decision is made with long-term performance, serviceability, and return on investment in mind.

Quality and Standards
All work carried out by Bailey Renewable Solutions is delivered to full UK standards and industry best practice. Our installations and electrical works comply with BS 7671, G99/G100, and all relevant DNO requirements.
Our engineers are qualified and accredited. We also ensure safe working at height and on complex sites, with team members trained in IPAF operation and certified in first aid. This combination of technical competence and safety awareness ensures every project is delivered to the highest standard – safely, responsibly, and in full compliance.
